Though the influence of sex and eroticism has been quite rampant but in actual terms the sexual revolution in point of fact was set in motion in the 1960s. The Internet "superhighway" gave easy access to sexual content in a way society had never experienced before. It has been perceived that in the recent years, the chat rooms and instant messaging incessantly has adopted the new form of "meeting" and "communicating" with other people.

This is known as the travesty of the cyber culture that was commenced with the central focus on the development of a new age of communication between the people form all the four corners of the planet. Though at times numerous websites have been blocked owing to the presence of raunchy and thoroughly unaccepted materials, but the reality is that the menace is still on and a great efforts is still to be undertaken so as to get rid of this negativity in the coming decades and to render the cyber culture its due worth.
